Organised by A New Direction

In this informal session we will be joined by both Artsmark Schools and cultural organisations (including Artsmark Partners) to discuss how partnerships can be developed over the next couple of terms to support wellbeing and recovery within schools.

We will hear from guest speakers from both sectors who have continued or developed new successful partnerships during the last academic year and there will be space to have open conversations about opportunities and concerns:

Groundswell Arts

Groundswell Arts will be sharing their organisations hybrid approach of both in-person and online delivery across the past year with particular focus on their Flagship Sing Our Story music project supporting the wellbeing of over 200 children and their families from 18 schools during lockdowns and Forgotten Stories an immersive theatre project developed between lockdowns.

Spotlight Theatre and Langdon Park School

Spotlight Arts and Langdon Park School will be talking about their bespoke anxiety and mental health intervention for students during the pandemic: Finding Calm Feeling Safe, borne from their unique partnership.

Next Generation Youth Theatre

There will also be time for informal networking, perhaps to spark off some new partnerships!
