Organised by Ash Magazine
We didn't have a launch for Issue 1, because to be truthful, we were exhausted. We're a small team, it was a lot of work alongside other projects that we work on, and the relief of actually finishing it was real. We really needed some time out to decompress.
But this time it's different and one year in, we're ready to let loose, so let's make it two issues worth of celebrations all rolled into one!
Expect music, extremely well-priced drinks, good vibes, and cake on us.
You'll be able to browse and buy a copy of the magazine, saving on postage costs, and every purchase comes with automatic entry to a raffle to win a print of our cover art. There will be speeches, possibly even happy tears. It will be a casual affair, everyone is welcome.
Diddy's is a fantastic independent bar/cafe with community at it's centre. We love that they make an effort to to be affordable and to not work with big brands. It's a beautiful, wgluten-freeell thought out space with a fab cocktail menu. We're ordering vegan and gluten free treats from Luminary Bakery, a social enterprise providing training for women from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those with experience of gender based violence, trafficking and sexual exploitation.
