We are delighted to invite you to a special Campfire hosted by Mark Broadbent & guests from Ibiza this April. Mark is an ‘Island DJ and former club promoter’ who has made Ibiza his home and will take us on a personal tour of the music and culture, the food and passion that makes the White Island such a special place.
Marks journey to Ibiza, via Huddersfield, India, Liverpool and Australia reads like a real life adventure in clubbing. From Cream and the super clubs to promoting the seminal ‘We Love…’ nights at Space, and with DJ sets for the discerning at ‘Pikes on Sundays’, to radio shows and sunsets at Hostal la Torre in between, Mark has witnessed the changing faces of club music on the island at every level since the 90’s to the present. Yet Ibiza is more than the clubs and sunsets, as a resident islander Mark knows the real Ibiza, the people and the culture that are there long after the closing parties.
Joining Mark on the day will be Dawn Hindle, creative director at Pikes, Andy Wilson, DJ & Presenter at Ibiza Sonica Radio and Ryan O’Gorman, DJ & veteran party organiser. In a talk that promises to go beyond the clubs and the sunsets, delving a little deeper into the real Ibiza, looking at the culture, the people and the lifestyle that represents the island long after the last of the closing parties.
