From Black Lives Matters to Extinction Rebellion, how is design at the leading edge of social change?

Find out about design’s role in creating social change through everything, from protest banners to affordable sanitary products. In this workshop participants will learn from the V&A’s 1900 – Now collection about designers’ approaches to changing the world around them. They will be asked to take on the role of the designer for their own cause, using a design thinking approach to create change for good.

All materials included, with no prior knowledge necessary. All activities are free but require booking. This workshop is part of a study day is for 14–18-year-olds unaccompanied by an adult.
