Coming from a creative background, Kate Woosey saw first hand the lack of financial advice and guidance available for freelancers and people working in the creative industry. Having seen a need for assessable, personal financial advice, she took the decision to retrain as a financial adviser, setting up Alex to help change the way self-employed consultants, small businesses, and creatives engage with their finances.
