This creative workshop will introduce you to the world of coding engines and teach you to create a piece of interactive fiction.
Suitable for young people at secondary school, aged 11-14.

What to expect
Can you read a video game? How does choice affect the way a story is told?
Learn about how coding is used to give players the ability to choose their path and how to use the coding engine Twine to create their own interactive narrative.
Discover the most interesting ways to create a story and find out why video games are the biggest revolution in fiction since the invention of the novel.
All equipment, materials and light refreshments will be provided, but they will need to bring a packed lunch.
