Organised by The Space

This webinar, presented by The Space in association with Arts Council England , is for arts organisations and artists who have an interest in the rights issues that need to be covered when producing digital projects, or who may be looking at including copyright material in their digital work.

In this session we’ll talk through what’s involved with securing digital rights, as well as sharing examples of how rights obstacles have prompted alternative creative paths, often to the benefit of the artwork. Our experts will give an overview of the fundamental principles and terminology of digital rights, then outline their individual specialisms and the work they do.

Then we’ll invite questions from the audience and will deal with as many as we can. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a burning question right now, there’ll be useful advice and ideas for everyone - whether that’s knowledge about digital rights frameworks, where to go for advice, or even exploring how rights obstacles can lead to new creative opportunities.
