Emma Slade Edmondson
Emma Slade Edmondson heads up ESE Consultancy, a creative strategic marketing agency working to elevate brands, initiatives and organisations who are looking to focus their business to harness social or environmental good. Emma is renowned for her transformational approach to retail marketing and behaviour change campaigns.

Speakers

Bethany Williams
British designer, Bethany Williams founded her menswear brand in 2017. Believing that social and environmental issues go hand in hand, Bethany finds innovative design solutions to sustainability. Each garment is as sustainable as possible and made in the UK. Bethany Williams provides an alternative system for fashion production, as she believes fashion’s reflection upon the world can create positive change.

Amanda Johnston
Amanda Johnston is curator and consultant at The Sustainable Angle, having curated the sustainable textiles collection and Future Fabrics Expo since its inception in 2010. Her role involves creating sustainable materials workshops, delivering presentations and seminars internationally, and contributing to panel discussions both at industry events and educational forums.

Matthew Drinkwater
Matthew is a champion of digital design heading up the Innovation Agency at the London College of Fashion which uses emerging technology to alter the way that the fashion industry is making, showcasing and retailing. In 2018 he worked alongside Lucas film's immersive entertainment division ILMxLAB to bring their new performance-driven augmentation technology, LIVECGX, to London Fashion Week while he was named as a 'fashion-tech trailblazer changing the course of retail' by Drapers and a 'pioneer and visionary' by Wired.

Dr Carmen Hijosa
Dr Carmen Hijosa, Founder and Chief Creative and Innovation Officer of Ananas Anam Ltd, developed Piñatex® - a natural plant-based material made from pineapple leaf fibre. She is an ethical entrepreneur with a vision for a more sustainable future, connecting people, ecology and economics.
Originally from Spain, Carmen’s career has taken her around the world. The journey of Piñatex® began when she realized the toxic impact of mass leather production while consulting in the Philippines. Driven to find an alternative solution, Carmen undertook a PhD at the Royal College of Art (UK) to develop Piñatex; As a result she has spearheaded a vibrant new industry that is socially, environmentally and economically responsible.
