Get ready for our first exhibition celebrating the art of menswear.

At a moment of unprecedented creativity in men's fashion and reflection on gender, we will explore how designers, tailors and artists – and their clients and sitters – have constructed and performed masculinity, and unpicked it at the seams.

In partnership with Gucci
Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci is one of the world's leading luxury fashion brands, part of the global luxury group Kering. Under the Creative Direction of Alessandro Michele, with Marco Bizzarri as President and Chief Executive, the House redefined Fashion with a rule-breaking approach, celebrating creativity, innovation, and self-expression.

Exhibition highlights include:
  • Craig Green SS21, photography by Amy Gwatkin
  • Harris Reed Fluid Romanticism 001. Courtesy Harris Reed. Photo: Giovanni Corabi
  • Chris Steele-Perkins, Market Tavern, Bradford, England, 1976
  • Portrait of Prince Alessandro Farnese by Sofonisba Anguissola, about 1560. Courtesy of The National Gallery of Ireland
