School of Code is offering a free, 16 week, online Skills Bootcamp in Software Development as part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs. Our mission is to help more people, no matter their background, get their first job in tech.
Who can apply?
Anyone over 19 years old, living in the West Midlands, East Midlands, North West, London and South East can apply. No qualifications or previous experience is required. You don’t even need to have seen a line of code before! All you need is the desire to learn, have a love of problem solving and be willing to start a new career in the tech sector on completion of the course.
What will I learn?
The intensive Skills Bootcamp will train you in full-stack JavaScript development. You’ll learn industry best practices and standards, gain skills in the fundamentals of programming and experience what it’s like to work in a high performance tech team.
What do I need?
To apply, you’ll need access to a laptop and internet connection from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday for the duration of the 16 week course.
