Hack The Deck - AI Creative Hackathon

A one day hackathon using AI tools to power human creativity. Explore responsible AI in storytelling & create a kids' IP pitch deck (No tech skills needed!)

Are you intrigued by AI but hesitant to dive in? Join us for a fun, one-day hackathon where we'll explore the power of AI in storytelling, and use it to develop an original kids' IP pitch deck.

This is for everyone, developed with begginers in mind! It's a one-day crash course where you'll learn all about the different AI tools out there, and how you can use them in your creative work. You'll leave feeling a bit less 'ARGH' and a bit more 'OOOO'.

What we'll do 🛠️

Play with user-friendly AI tools for storytelling, art, audio and animation and more
Brainstorm & develop a captivating kids' concept.
Discover how AI can enhance creativity without sacrificing quality.
Network with fellow creatives who share your passion for storytelling.

The challenge 🥅

You'll work in small teams to create an IP pitch that:

Leverages AI tools without sacrificing quality 🚀
Embeds thoughtful themes and emotional intelligence 🧠💖
Shows creators working with, not being replaced by AI 👫🤖

Why This Matters 👀

Kids entertainment shouldn't simply be churned out by machines. We'll explore how AI can be a powerful tool for creators, allowing you to focus on the magic of storytelling.

How might we utilise AI in kids media while still keeping emotional intelligence, empathy, and human values at the core?

Prizes 🏆

The winning team will receive free tickets to the CMC (worth £590 + VAT) and a spot on our CMC panel to discuss the process, giving you an immediate audience and a chance to showcase your work!

No tech skills or experience needed, all are welcome - just bring your imagination!
