Organised by The Guardian

Join Guardian writer Hannah Jane Parkinson in conversation with fellow columnist, Eva Wiseman.

Drawing inspiration from her weekly column, Parkinson’s new collection The Joy of Small Things celebrates the tiny pleasures to be found in everyday life, from receiving flowers and cracking open a cold can of Coke, to her fluffy dressing gown (“like bathing in marshmallow”), solo cinema trips and gleefully abandoning a book she isn’t enjoying.

She will be talking to Observer writer Eva Wiseman about finding small delights, even in difficult times, and the highs and lows of writing a weekly column. They’ll also be answering some of your questions during this livestreamed event.

Running time: 60 minutes
