Monica Pool Knox oversees LivePerson's global human resources strategy — including leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent management, learning, total rewards, talent acquisition, people operations, DEI, and Modern Workplace — and focuses on continuing to align compassionate and ethical AI as a foundation of LivePerson's culture. She has extensive experience leading HR organizations and strategies to attract, develop, and retain world-class talent within high-performance companies.

Prior to joining LivePerson, Pool Knox led human resources for a global workforce of over 8,000 focused on cloud and AI at Microsoft. She has held executive HR positions at Twitter, Sony, CBS Interactive, PepsiCo, The Walt Disney Company, and Verizon. Pool Knox serves as a Board Director of Swedish Health Systems and on the Board of Howard University's School of Communications. She earned her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Maral Kazanjian
Chief People Officer at WeWork
Maral Kazanjian was promoted to serve as WeWork’s Chief People Officer in July 2021. Prior to her promotion, Ms. Kazanjian served as WeWork’s Global Head of Employment Law, Employee Relations and Talent Management from June 2019 to July 2021. Before joining WeWork, Ms. Kazanjian spent 11 years at Moody's Corporation where she led the Global Employment Law and Employee Relations functions and was a member of the HR Leadership Team and Executive Diversity Council. Prior to joining Moody's, Ms. Kazanjian was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Kauff McGuire & Margolis LLP. Ms. Kazanjian previously served as a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveys) Regulatory Board from 2016 to 2019 and is currently an advisor to the AGBU (Armenian General Benevolent Union) and a member of the AELC (American Employment Law Council), a pre-eminent management side employment lawyers association. Ms. Kazanjian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Psychology from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law.

Shawn Achor
Author
Shawn Achor is the New York Times best-selling author of The Happiness Advantage and Before Happiness. He spent 12 years at Harvard, where he won over a dozen distinguished teaching awards, and delivered lectures on positive psychology in the most popular class at Harvard. Achor graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and earned a master’s degree from Harvard Divinity School in Christian and Buddhist ethics.
