Are you a performer and proud? Do you wish to start a career in Cabaret? Do you dream of drag? Is your identity at the centre of your artistry? Join us for a very special guest talk with Le Gateau Chocolat

Join us for a candid talk with the inspirational, world-renowned, boundary pushing giant of the queer scene, Le Gateau Chocolat, on how to build a career around being nothing but yourself!

Hosted by the activist and rising star Tatum Swithenbank from the podcast Honey And The Hex.

Following the talk, there will be a networking event in the bar.

This event is part of Roundhouse’s season of events around the Jean Paul Gaultier show Fashion Freak Show.

About Le Gateau Chocolat:
Voted by Time Out London as one of its Top 10 Cabaret Stars, Le Gateau Chocolat is a one-man, larger-than-life musical phenomenon, wrapped in dazzling sequin lycra. The six-and-a-half foot tall, six inch heeled, wig-clad wonder swings wildly from one end of the musical spectrum to another, from disco to opera, musicals and pop.

As a technically-gifted and celebrated baritone, Le Gateau Chocolat has been invited to perform at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Sydney Opera House, and as part of the Olivier-winning La Clique/La Soiree.

His recent production ICONS has toured to Sydney Festival, Wales Millennium Centre, Soho Theatre and Underbelly Southbank. ICONS has also been presented with accompaniment from the Little Coco Orchestra, a Le Gateau Chocolat initiative to support diverse musicians through the creation of an ensemble formed entirely of women of colour.

“A baritone voice that makes the earth shake. Formidably surreal… A true original” BASEMENT JAXX
