Do you want to get some tips on how you can make your connections more meaningful when you are networking? Struggling with self-doubt at the thought of networking with other creatives or professionals?
Join Careers & Employability team to explore the benefits of networking along your employability and/or enterprising journeys. Find out our top tips for networking effectively and how to ease anxiety and self-doubt to showcase your skills in the best light.
In this session we will explore:
  • Why it is useful to consider different ways of networking (how to make it work for you)
  • Benefits and differences of networking in person or online, including tips on platforms to network on.
  • How you introduce yourself to other creative professionals
  • Who to consider networking with when preparing or looking for work opportunities and collaborators
  • How to manage my anxiety while networking and not let imposter syndrome hold you back
This session is ideal for students and graduates who are preparing for and actively looking for work opportunities, keen to learn how to network or want to gain insights and tips into how they can make more meaningful connections with creative peers and professionals.
