If you're writing flash fiction, or you're thinking about starting, it can be tough to find good advice about what works and what doesn't when writing in this form. Join this online workshop with Christopher Allen, Editor-in-Chief of SmokeLong Quarterly, an online literary magazine dedicated to flash narrative, on how to make every word count and craft stories of 1,000 words or less with confidence. Read more about the format and book your place at londonwriterscafe.co.uk

Christopher Allen is the editor-in-chief of SmokeLong Quarterly and the author of the flash fiction collection Other Household Toxins (Matter Press). His work has appeared in The Best Small Fictions 2019, Indiana Review, Booth, Split Lip Magazine, Lunch Ticket, and elsewhere. He is a regular workshop leader at the UK Flash Fiction Festival and has been a teacher for almost three decades. Usually a nomad, Allen is stranded these days at his home in Munich, Germany.
