An evening of ideas and conversation with polymath artist Imogen Heap, unveiling the early stages of an extraordinary journey with her digital twin AI.MOGEN.

Grammy Award-winning musician Heap has recently created her digital twin ‘AI.MOGEN’ to expand and enrich her connection with her audience, while involving core fans in its development. The artist has been livestreaming hundreds of hours of intimate fan conversations since 2020, using this data to train AI.MOGEN to act as a bridge between artist and audience, allowing for more meaningful interaction.
The conversation, hosted by Hannah Andrews, Director of Digital Innovation in the Arts at British Council, also explores innovative approaches to live performance, integrating real-time inputs, such as biometric data, environmental conditions, and audience engagement through wearable technology, into the creative process.
The ultimate vision is to develop a performance concept that allows for complete presence and spontaneity on stage, transforming the dynamic range of recorded music into a real-time, interactive experience. This event offers a unique glimpse into the future of live performance in the age of AI.
