Chris Maas' biography
Chris Maas is a photographer from Luxembourg, based in London. His photographic journey began by documenting life on the road as a professional touring musician in 2010. He quickly developed a deep love for film photography and traditional darkroom printing.
Almost entirely self-taught, Chris’ style is voyeuristic in approach, always seeking the best frame. Never intending to preach nor follow trends.
He is always interested in new projects and opportunities to shoot the extraordinary.
Ricky Patel's biography
Ricky Patel has been a DOP for over 12 years. Previously working as a Focus Puller and 1st Assistant Camera, Ricky also worked part time at rental houses gaining an understanding of the finer details of cameras and lenses. Coming from a photography background, unique lenses including spherical and anamorphic, as well as bringing old glass on to new sensors, have become an obsession.
Over the years Ricky has worked on various types of productions including commercials, documentaries and music videos. Additionally, Ricky started a YouTube channel 12 years ago called ‘Mahogany Sessions’ which now has over 800,000 subscribers.
