While many organisations are now focused on building up their diversity, many are yet to understand the importance of inclusivity in the hiring process more broadly. Any D&I strategy should start and end with the hiring process, are you attracting the right people? Are they making it through to the interview stage? Are the best people landing the job? Do they stay in the job?

Many organisations put a huge amount of time and energy into candidate sourcing, hiring recruiters and sourcing via Linkedin to find the best people for their roles. The problem? Most hiring processes are riddled with bias. Take the classic CV and cover letter, there are dozens of cognitive biases that can lurk in their assessment, leading some of the best and most diverse candidates to be discarded at the selection stage. We all know that hiring the wrong person can be a costly mistake, the answer? Improve your hiring process.

In this session, we'll discuss how to make a hiring process more inclusive, how to save time and energy in the process, and how to hire the best person based on what really matters in the role. We'll talk tactics, tricks and different techniques to help you set yourself up for success. Whether you're looking to hire 1x person or 50x, we'll discuss various options to help you manage and improve an inclusive hiring process.
