An event to inspire the next generation of creatives and techies, hosted at Airbnb by DESC and Endz2Endz.
Speakers on the night will be sharing their journey, underlining the starting points and giving insight into various careers in the tech and creative industries.
We have the following speakers on the night:
Samuel Ade (Host)
Founder and Managing Director of DESC, a web platform helping entrepreneurs and business to find co-working space locally, quickly and affordably. Trustee at 198 Contemporary & Learning and Co-Founder of HustleBucks an award-winning youth-led social enterprise under the same umbrella.
Edward Vince (Creative Director of EMEA at Airbnb)
Edward Vince is currently the European Creative Director for Airbnb here in London. He recently returned from San Francisco where he worked at Facebook and Apple in their in-house creative teams. He studied Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins college of art in London and is a self-taught graphic designer and art director who has made everything from furniture to films.
Bethany Easton (Production Lead of EMEA at Airbnb)
Bethany Easton began her career as a Production Assistant and Departmental Secretary at McCann Erickson advertising agency, and has since worked in many of London's top Ad Agencies as well as at Production Companies, Production Agencies and direct to Brand, mostly in a freelance capacity. Bethany is still Freelance, and is currently Airbnb's Production Lead for EMEA.
Meggan Roxanne (Founder of The Good Quote)
Meggan created TheGood Network in 2014, desperately seeking an online safe place whilst living with depression. Six years later, she’s built a community of over 30 million, creating content, advocating for mental health and self-development through literature and discussion.
Teriy Keys (Artist and Entrepreneur)
Teriy Keys, Esq., Artist / Entertainment Executive and founder of Righteous Organised Always Determined - R.O.A.D. (Fraternity) who offer Management and Consultation in the Creative sector to clients ranging from Dizzee Rascal to Tottenham Hotspur Football Foundation on Branding, Start-Up Loan Finance, Live Events & Tour Promotion and Educational training providers inclusive of the management of UK / EU Government / Public Funds.
Izzy Obeng (Founder of Foundervine)
Izzy Obeng is the Founding Director of Foundervine - a non-profit that connects purpose-driven companies to impactful startups. As a training consultant, Izzy has trained over 2,000 entrepreneurs throughout her career She is a professional speaker, business coach, social entrepreneur and is a proud champion of diversity in the digital tech ecosystem. Izzy has been featured in the BBC, Sunday Times and in 2018 was awarded the Maserati 100. Prior to Foundervine, Izzy launched the Queen Mary University of London start-up incubator and delivered large-scale talent development programmes at KPMG UK. She now divides her time between the UK and Ghana, delivering start-up and scale-up acceleration programmes designed to develop the digital innovation across Sub-Saharan Africa.
