Claire McGowan is a thriller writer, who writes contemporary women's fiction as Eva Woods. She also writes scripts, articles, and endless to-do lists. She has had three radio plays broadcast on Radio 4, and her last two thrillers both went to number 1 on Kindle. Previously Director of the Crime Writers' Association, Claire ran the UK’s first MA in crime writing for five years, and regularly teaches and talks about writing. She was shortlisted for the Romantic Novel of the Year award in 2019.
