Join Emma Bowen from the Local Data Company for a demonstration and showcase of the Local Data Online (LDO) database. LDO is a location insights platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs to gain instant access to data to better their understanding of the physical retail and leisure market across Great Britain. The mapping capabilities allow you to search from a regional level down to a hyper-local level, providing overviews of demographics, occupancy and vacancy change over time, as well as identifying gaps in the market and vacant units available for occupancy.
LDO also offers the opportunity to analyse trends by brand or by category, providing store locations and contact information for every business. This granular level of analysis, data and insights is not easy to collate on your own and having easy access to Local Data Online is a value resource for our customers in the British Library, as well as in some of the BIPC Network.
