MAKING NUNO Japanese Textile Innovation from Sudō Reiko presents the innovative work of Japanese textile designer Sudō Reiko, who is renowned for pushing boundaries of textile production and championing new methods of sustainable manufacturing.
Large scale installations utilize audio visual elements to bring Sudō's work to life, demonstrating specific fabrication techniques, championing regional manufacturing and immersing guests in the beauty of Nuno's fabrics. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with the Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT) in Hong Kong. For more information on Sudō Reiko and this exhibition, please here.
Entry to our Gallery for this exhibition is free, but due to social distancing measures, all guests are required to book in order to guarantee entry at their chosen time. Tickets are released on a weekly basis, two weeks in advance of the ticket date. The exhibition opens on 17 May* and closes on 11 July 2021.
