Richard Allan Scarves was a major name in the explosion of pattern and colour that defined the art and fashion of London in the 1960s. The contemporary Richard Allan collections have been launched by his daughter, Cate, melding her work with her father’s. Yasmin Everley started designing jewellery in the basement of her parents’ shop in the 2000s, staring her own brand in 2010, developing three core collections and increasingly working on bespoke pieces to capture the intimate moment’s in her clients stories.
Both designers have an eclectic style working with both organic and geometric forms, Yasmin using precious metals, Cate using silk. All pieces are carefully designed and responsibly printed or cast in small quantities.
