As part of our new Mentoring services, we will be asking volunteers to be one-off mentors to ambitious people in our industry:
Mentor Skills Workshop
We are asking that our mentor volunteers create a mini biog on our website, with a short description of their sector specialty and career. Mentees will pitch a pithy career challenge which mentors can choose to accept or not. If accepted the mentee receives 60 minutes of virtual mentoring. This mentoring service will be available to all IPA agencies and staff across the UK.
You do not need to do this mentor training to be one of our mentors but if interested our virtual workshop will equip you with the skills needed to be a mentor such as asking the right questions, listening, setting realistic objectives, or provide a refresher.
Your Tutor
IPA CPD Adviser Gwyn March is your first port of call for all things mentoring, entry level talent, CPD Gold, Training Forum and Foundation Certificate tutoring. Gwyn has been training in our industry for over 25 years and in the last decade has taught many senior people UK wide in mentoring skills.
