Join Phaedra as she closes the year with a mini art showcase in Fitzrovia. Phaedra is an artist and designer from SW London. She is also the designer behind her very own tee brand Creep Like Me.
Phaedra Peer is the queen of flipping things on their head. Her desire to challenge the notion of negative affirmations, and her fun play on everyday sentiments, means we get full access to understanding exactly what it means to be a Creep. Phaedra loves to play around with narratives especially ones concerning women. She has explored alot of the stories from disney and has used her brush to reinvent who and what these women are.
Phaedra Peer, an artist and also the designer of Creep Like Me says ‘We all need a sprinkle of dysfunctionality to make our lives exciting! We can’t all be the same. Sometimes we just want to stick our middle finger up to the world, so why not explore this... It’s not about being negative or sad, but it's actually the opposite. It is about making statements that will kick start conversations… I hate being polite all the time, we mince our words too much, we are all so keen on making things sound ‘pretty’. Creep Like Me is like our inner person being allowed out with no shackles! We can all be Creeps if we want to’.
Phaedra will be talking people through the inspiration behind her pieces and will available to answer any questions.
