A lot of our community is based internationally, and as such we wanted to offer a digital mechanism to support them. We have decided to host a series of virtual webinars on a variety of thematic subjects as a part of our new community-focused events series online: Power Webinars.
Goal of the Power Webinar series
The Power Webinar is seeking to do exactly what it says in the name, give you the power (and confidence) to engage with a subject at hand. We seek to support our community to access new insights, content and up-skill themselves for free. All of our webinar sessions have no cost attached to them, to ensure everyone can access this resource. All sessions are conducted in a safe and inclusive environment, and will be anchored on a key topic shared with the guest for that session.
Pitch Disorder
Learn the skill of pitching a creative idea by channelling the unexpected ‘power of chaos’. In this webinar you can learn how to win a creative pitch through ‘destabilising expectations’.
Our guest speaker, Neda Shadanlou, has pitched creative campaigns to numerous brands and broadcasters over the years, like the BBC and Netflix.
In this session, we will be exploring:
- How to structure a creative pitch
- Why you should burn that structure to win
- How to use psychology to give your pitch the edge
- Why madness and music matter to a creative pitch
- Why you should destabilise the room, to win the room
Our guest speaker
Neda Shadanlou is a Creative and Director, originally from Iran. She has pitched creative campaigns to the some of the world’s biggest brands and broadcasters, like the BBC and Netflix.
Winning numerous awards for both her advertising and directing work, she was recently named as one of Britain’s New Creative Leaders in 2018 by Campaign Magazine.
Neda grew up with a hyper awareness of chaos having been born into the Iran-Iraq war in the 80s, her first words as a child were ‘lights’ due to the blackouts during the war.
In her formative years she developed a fascination with creativity and chaos and she divulges on these learnings in this one-off webinar session.
