Organised by Found
On Thursday 10th March Found will be hosting a portfolio event for those interested in exploring the world of CGI, motion graphics, and film.
Are you starting out or looking to work in the industry? Are you curious about CGI and how it may relate to your current practice? Are you currently in Fine Art, Graphic design, Animation, Product Design or Interior Design and simply keen to discover and learn more? If so, this event’s for you.
Whether you’re a student, a graduate or in the first 2 years of your career, this is your chance to meet industry professionals and understand how best to shape your future in CGI and motion graphics. Led by Found’s core design team, join this event to share your portfolio, receive key feedback and guidance, and build upon your network of fellow emerging designers in the field.
How will the session run?
This event will take place over Zoom on Thursday 10th March 2022, from 5pm to 8pm GMT. There are a limited number of places available, so we recommend that participants sign up and register their interest early.
The event itself will be intimate and fast-moving. In rotating breakout rooms of 3:1 - three emerging creatives to one Found reviewer - participants will have the opportunity to share and discuss their work, alongside receiving and asking for tailored advice and feedback.
The breakout rooms are structured to rotate throughout the evening, so participants will get to meet several reviewers over the course of the event.
Application Process
Participants are required to submit an example of their work in their application: it needn’t be a perfectly polished portfolio, but one or two projects that capture their craft and design focus. The Found team will review these ahead of the event.
Work examples should be sent to: events@found-studio.com. Please also include information about your current position, be it final year student, recent graduate, or in your first 2 years of employment.
In the interest of ensuring we cover as diverse a group as possible, please also include the following details: Age, Gender Identity, Ethnicity.
Please note: this session is open to UK and EU creatives looking to work in CG and motion graphics, with no more than two year’s experience in the field.
Register your interest by 23rd February here.
