The Growth & Grace Collective presents a Power Hour: How To Say No in collaboration with The Pitch Process and WeWork.

We will welcome some a wonder woman panel to discuss n owning your voice, being more confident and ultimately how to say no. Following a panel discussion hosted by Jess Gosling, you have the opportunity to speed network with our panel.

Workshop goals
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to understand the basics of how to say no, grab some top tips to get started with pushing back and pick the brains of some experts to start implementing your own confidence today.
The event seeks to examine:

  2. The power of pushing back
  3. Sharing key learnings and best practices of how to say no.
Is this workshop for me?
This workshop is for ambitious females who struggle with confidence, push back and ultimately how to say no, but want access to the hive mind of some of the top talents in the field. This workshop is for you if you're struggling with where to start with finding your confidence, how to push back and find the confidence to do so, the language you should use when communicating to people and the like.

What to expect on the day:

About your panel

Peta Cornish
Peta is an actor, writer and voice coach. She gained a Masters in Acting from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after receiving a First Class Degree in English Literature at Bristol University, and has also received extensive training from the National Youth Theatre and the London Speech Surgery. Peta has been coaching since 2009, running workshops for both groups and individuals in a range of environments.
She founded The Pitch Process in January 2018 with her business partner Laura Hanna to develop and expand this area of work. Coaching Confidence, Public Speaking, Communication and Presentation Skills, the Pitch Process work across a wide variety of sectors - corporations, start-ups, prisons, charities and schools - and are passionate about helping people achieve clarity and confidence in every sphere of life.

Chanelle Corena
Originally from Australia, Chanelle is a Public Health expert having lived in many countries around the world and working primarily in the charity sector. Her own lived experience of burnout has sparked her passion to support workplaces and their staff to prevent this rising occupational phenomenon.

Francesca Filippa
Francesca is a Scottish Sicilian Singer, Songwriter and Space-holder with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Theatre, a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Production and is a highly experienced yoga and meditation teacher. Francesca firmly believes in the power of women coming together as the most sustainable support system for thriving in the madness of modern life under the systemic oppression of patriarchal structures. Highly inspired by her powerhouse guides of all female mentors and teachers, she wrote and directed her first independent short film ‘Woken Women’ in November 2017. Soon after she began holding seasonal sister circles to honour the ancient and archetypal divine feminine spirit that has helped her transform and reclaim her artistry after many years of struggling with impostor syndrome. Her greatest gift is curating beautiful safe spaces of ritual and art to consciously cultivate creativity, confident expression and deep connection to our hearts and truths. The Woken Women community has become a source of strength, inspiration, solace and profound healing in the lives of all the sisters who co-create it once a sister circle is opened its power never ends.

Serena Gasparini
Serena is a marketing and event professional who has spent over 10 years building her career both in Australia and the UK. Bringing her creative flare to the food and beverage industry and creating immersive activations, has always been very rewarding and challenging.
Having battled with long term anxiety, she realised the power of saying no and the importance of taking time to heal. This led to an amazing life transformation, the birth of her business and the power to manage her wellbeing. A motivating coach, leader and problem solver, Serena loves sharing her knowledge and experiences, she hopes to encourage others to do the same.
