We've partnered with Brugal 1888 to bring you a special Rum Masterclass.
Brugal Rum is the pride of the Dominican Republic as the only 100% Dominican rum on the market. From the harvesting of local sugar cane to the final aging process, all elements of craftsmanship take place in and use the finest ingredients from the Dominican Republic.
This is the way Brugal premium rums have been made since the company’s founding in 1888 by Don Andres Brugal. His vision and experience have been passed on through five generations of the Brugal family. The Maestros Roneros – Masters of Rum, are not only members of the Brugal family legacy, but personal guardians of the entire rum making process; they painstakingly nurture each and every stage of rum production before bestowing their personal seal of approval upon the final results.
When most people look at a glass of aged rum, certain expectations come straight to the fore – sweetness, caramel and “after-dinner drink.” Brugal 1888 shatters those expectations and is often described more in the terms people use for whisky than for rum: smooth, rich, full-bodied and far from sweet. You could say it’s the rum for whisky lovers!
The masterclass will include:
- A welcome Brugal 1888 cocktail
- Brugal 1888 Brand Ambassador will talk through the production, history and brand story.
- A guided tasting of Brugal 188
