Looking after our mental health and wellbeing has been recognised as paramount to maintaining good physical health, building resilience and strengthening our immune system. How can we maximise the pleasant experiences in life and get the most from them?
In this taster session (pun intended, although it’s not really about food per se) we can start to understand Savouring as a concept, it’s links with Mindfulness and the part it plays in reducing stress and anxiety whilst increasing meaning and purpose in our lives.

Carole is a Positive Psychologist, Coach and Mindfulness (MBCT/SR) Facilitator with over 25 years experience in the field of Mental Health, Health and Wellbeing. With a background in fine Arts (MA RCA) and Psychology (MSc MAPP), she has combined her specialisms to enable individuals, groups, communities and organisations to flourish.
She has worked with the public, voluntary and private sector including Mind, SLAM and various borough Public Health and Health Trust departments. This includes two years in the NHS, developing a Health Coaching Pilot and Service within GP surgeries and Medical Centres. She currently runs a private coaching practice and works as a Wellbeing Consultant.
