About Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy transforms the fundraising knowledge, skills and levels of success for cultural organisations. Working with Trustees, CEOs, Senior leaders, mid-career and new and emerging talent, we empower cultural professionals to harness the considerable opportunities that fundraising offers and to develop diverse and entrepreneurial practice. The programme is led by social enterprise Cause4 in partnership with the University of Leeds and Arts Marketing Association.

David joined Cause4 as Head of Programme for Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy and is now Director of Strategy and Programmes. Formerly Head of Development at the Albany Theatre (South East London) where he more than doubled its turnover, David has also worked for Cultural Development team for the London Borough of Hackney, and as Company Manager for Emergency Exit Arts. He sits on the board of Babylon Arts in Ely and is a non-executive director of Powered By CAN in the West Midlands.
