Organised by NABS

NABS is partnering with Media For All to bring you an exhilarating morning of mentoring, featuring some of the most senior and revered leaders in our business.

This event’s incredible mentors are all leaders from black, asian and other minoritised ethnic communities. Our sessions aim to be inclusive, dynamic and focused on creating an industry in which everybody feels welcome, connected and represented.

The fast-paced format means that you’ll get to spend time with each of our brilliant mentors, giving you a unique opportunity to find out about how they got to where they are.

This is your opportunity to ask them what challenges they faced, how to make an impact in the workplace, when it’s time to move on, how do they define success, and anything else that will help you to build your career.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to connect with them and benefit from their experience and knowledge.

Here are your fantastic mentors for this session:

  • Lucy Daramola, UK & EMEA Account Management Team Lead, Adthena
  • Elizabeth Anyaegbuna, Co-Founder, Sixteen by Nine
  • Aliya Vigor-Robertson, Founding Partner, JourneyHR
  • Jayesh Rajdev, VP Business Partnerships, The Addressable Platform (ITV)
  • Balpreet Mangat, Managing Partner, MKTG

After careful consideration, NABS has decided to rebrand its BAME Leaders Speed Mentoring sessions, dropping the use of the term ‘BAME’ in the title.

We’ve taken this step in response to the ever-evolving language used to describe minoritised individuals. This change reflects our wish to be authentic, respectful and inclusive in how we describe the industry community that we serve; being actively inclusive and not-othering those from Black, Asian and other ethnic minoritised communities.

The format of the sessions will continue to offer the opportunity for attendees to network with representative role models, but from now on, all our sessions will simply be titled ‘Speed Mentoring’, followed by a clear explanation of the fantastic array of mentors at each event, and what insight their own unique background and lived experience can offer. Our sessions will continue to be inclusive, dynamic and focused on creating an industry in which everybody feels welcome, connected and represented.
