In this workshop, we'll go everything you need to know about starting out as a freelancer writer. We'll cover the basics of starting out, when (if ever!) you should consider working for free, how to build your portfolio, and how to pitch to major publications.

Led by Phoebe Dodds, a business writer and the founder of content strategy consultancy BURO155. She’s been writing for publications like the Huffington Post, the Guardian and the Holland Times since the age of 15, and founded her first business at the age of 19. After a stint at business school, from which she graduated with a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship, Phoebe combined her writing and business background to found BURO155.

She's currently a guest lecturer at the London College of Fashion in content strategy, and she was named on The Next Web's T500 list of the top digital talent in The Netherlands.

Her business has been featured by the likes of Vogue, Forbes and Grazia.
