Even at the best of times, it’s difficult to stick to the health and wellbeing commitments we make to ourselves. But there's no doubt that it’s much harder in stressful and challenging times...

Furthermore, being self-employed brings additional stressors and challenges to cope with, such as; financial uncertainty, loneliness, isolation, imposter syndrome, time and energy challenges, pressure to make all the decisions and do everything yourself, tax complications and transitory roles.

The truth is that we humans have not evolved to cope with constant pressure or to live with chronic stress.

To counteract the challenges of the modern-day world, it’s critical that we learn how to cultivate effective habits and wellbeing practices that become our new 'ways of being', if we want to be happy, healthy and thrive both personally and professionally.

March 30th Session 5: Cultivate a successful mindset to conquer the many challenges of self-employment

April 6th Session 6: Connecting it all together and final wrap-up session

Tutor
Kate Horwood, is an experienced wellbeing consultant and personal development coach who supports hard-working, busy professionals and leaders. She uses science-based tools and techniques to help people create new and improved healthy habits: new ways of thinking, behaving, working, and the belief they need to reach their full potential.

Her consulting work focuses on workplace wellbeing and leadership initiatives such as mental fitness, burnout awareness, optimising energy, time and focus, empathic leadership, stress resilience and wellbeing in direct relation to high performance.
