Delivered by one of our professional and experienced tutors Sass Brown, in this £1 taster session we will give you an insight into sustainable fashion.

This session will explore the impact of the mainstream fashion industry on the planet, and look at examples of brands doing inspirational work to mitigate those impacts through creative responses.

We will review the role that textiles play within the fashion supply chain and ethical alternatives to mainstream materials and production methodologies, including the alternatives to the ‘take make and waste’ approach to production that considers waste as a resource.

Finally, we will scrutinise the shifting dynamics of ethics as it pertains to the ethical development, production and communication of design.
