🎤 Speaker Bio
Eliza Hatch is a photographer, speaker, curator, digital creator, and the founder of Cheer Up Luv. Eliza founded Cheer Up Luv 8 years ago as a photo series retelling women and gender-diverse people's experiences of public sexual harassment. Cheer Up Luv has evolved into a globally renowned educational platform and community combining art with journalism, activism, social media, and a podcast that facilitates discussions around feminism, misogyny, and everyday sexism. Eliza has done a TEDx talk, worked with the United Nations, UN Women UK, Adobe Stock, Refinery 29, and Nike to name a few. Her work has received acclaim from publications such as The Guardian, The Independent, The Washington Post, Wonderland, Cosmopolitan, and many more, and she has contributed to multiple features on the BBC and Channel 5 News discussing topics surrounding women’s safety and sexual harassment.

The Photography Foundation was created to provide pathways to professional photography for diverse young adults in London by offering education, practical experience, and routes to a career in the creative industries. The Photography Foundation acknowledges that commercial photography can be a stressful career and feel isolating at times. Our events are intended to promote wellbeing and the importance of making time for inspiration and creativity in your practice in order to maintain a sustainable career.
Our six-month commercial photography Training Programme provides a supportive and inspiring environment where 18-25 year olds take their professional photography skills to the next level, develop a commercially-focused portfolio tailored to their career goals, and grow their independent voice whilst gaining practical experience.
