The Art of Creative Direction
How can creative direction give your business a unique brand identity?
What does it take to apply creative passion to a new brand or product?
Which tips and tricks will help you get started creating a distinctive brand?
In this free, one-hour Zoom Dive, creative strategist Fiona O’Brien reveals her insights into building memorable brands through graphic and copy-based creative direction, drawing on her experience in the advertising industry, as well as co-founding her own successful coffee roastery, Girls Who Grind.
It’ll be an inspiring and energising session for any entrepreneur, particularly anyone with visual and communication chops interested in growing a different kind of business powered by their creative skills.

About Fiona:
“I'm a Melbournian born and bred, so coffee runs through my veins. I started my career in advertising as a creative strategist, but a few years into my career I felt the urge to open my own cafe utilising my design/brand skills and love for coffee and cafe culture. Since then my career has always swayed between the two industries as it still does now within Girls Who Grind!
As Head of Brand and Customer Relations at Girls Who Grind Coffee, I look after everything brand, design and retail related; from designing packaging and merchandise to running our social media platforms and managing brand collaborations. Plus, I take care of all our wholesale and retail customers, cultivating good relationships between the roastery and the consumer.”

About Girls who Grind:
Girls Who Grind is an all-female coffee roastery owned and run by us, Fi O'Brien and Casey LaLonde.
An Aussie and an American, both now living in Frome, Somerset with our fams - our destined paths met and our roastery ownership dreams have come true on a farm, in the wild Wiltshire town of Upton Scudamore - don't worry, we didn't know where that was either!
