THE ARTISTS' FAIR

Initiated by the Studios community, a new experiment in the sale of work.
This November the River Rooms will play host to an artist-led fair celebrating the vibrant cross-disciplinary community based at Somerset House Studios. Offering audiences a unique opportunity to purchase artworks, objects, and wares directly from the artists, the fair aims to create new income streams with the presentation and sale of work in the hands of the artists and 100% of proceeds going directly to them.
Artists will host stalls as an individual or as part of a group. Some works available for sale will be pre-existing, whereas others will be created specifically for this event with many produced on-site. The fair offers an informal setting for interaction between artists and the public and will also feature artist DJ’s and a pop-up bar.
