Join us for an evening of soul-nourishing Iranian food and conversation as part of the #CookForIran Initiative.
About this event
Rose Eskafi, founder of Still Chill and Head of Well-Being at gal-dem joins Mana’s Plant Based Persian Cuisine by @theiranianvegan to host an evening of soul-nourishing Iranian food and conversation, with a focus on how we can take care of ourselves and our mental wellbeing.
For over a hundred days and counting, Iranian women and protesters across Iran have been leading a historic, ground-breaking revolution, calling for an overhaul of the current brutal and tyrannical regime. The unfolding of events and uncertainty of this time has had effects on all of us in the diaspora.
This supper club is part of the #CookForIran initiative. It offers a space to engage with mindfulness and wellbeing practices, led by Rose Eskafi, whilst sharing personal experiences and reflections on the ongoing revolution.
Our time together will include a set menu curated by Mana Shamshiri, who will centre the cultural and anthropological significance of the food shared.
The intention behind this event is to nourish our souls and bellies, connect on a deeper level and cultivate hope. It is a space created to keep the conversation on Iran thriving in a meaningful way.
All are welcome. Limit spaces available.
