Ticket Pricing:
Because we aim to be representational, invaluable, and inexpensive, our event season tickets can be bought from £4 via our Patreon. This season will last from March until May. Each event will be released as a stand-alone by signing up to our Patreon you have access to all events eligible to your membership tier.
Event Series Description:
This season, we have jam-packed a collection of global A-class photographers. We aim to create the most engaging array of events featuring artists from radically different backgrounds. For us, diversity has many different faces and so we champion diversity of styles when learning about photography. On the roster for this season, we’ve got Amandla Baraka, a self-taught director and photographer shooting contemporary fashion; Lynsey Weatherspoon, a self-proclaimed #blackqueergirl commercial and editorial photographer; Okobe, a Spanish-born visual conceptual artist whose work champions Pan-Africanism; Cary Fagan, an interdisciplinary artist taking his inspiration from Japanese culture to inform his anthropomorphic exploration of experimental ‘sculpting’; and finally, Henry J. Kamara, the British Sierra-Leonian researcher, photographer, and writer whose recent work ‘Universal Spirit’ is a memoir featuring five years of research.

Event Breakdown:
Each event is broken down into two days. Day one is the big event where you can expect to leave this session with first-hand insight into this style of photography. With day two, expect to engage in a safe-space created to support the growth and further development of your work.

Urban MBA is about developing enterprise skill sets to equip marginalised and disengaged young adults to be resilient in times of personal turmoil as well as during the journey of building a business. They are a registered non-profit organisation that provide enterprise programmes and best of breed business courses aimed to help young people develop their ideas and start their own sustainable commercial and social businesses.
Their programmes focus on young adults who are not in education, employment, or training, and who need to be reached by alternative teaching methods to make the programme content come to life. During the programme, students will learn valuable skill sets such as goal setting, confidence building, and presentation skills through the use of technology. These skill sets and training methods will help our students to apply the learnings in a practical business application.
We have joined forces with Urban MBA because we aim to support the growth of photographers in the same way Urban MBA support young adults. Although we will not be offering formal programmes, the resources of both organisations, Tinted and Urban MBA, are at the disposal of our directory members. This means that we can support with self-branding, pitching to magazines, building a funding strategy and effectively turning your craft into business and consistent income.
