During this workshop you will be guided through the process of creating a traditionally stitched piece using running stitch, couching, and laced running stitch. After using these techniques as a method for drawing and mark making, you will be invited to apply them to any cherished textile that you would like to revive, whether for the home or for a garment. Using these slow and almost ritualistic processes, we hope to encourage you to give your used textiles a second life.
This workshop is suitable for both complete beginners and those with some sewing experience. All you need to take part is a computer with a webcam and microphone.
