Join artist Bridget Harvey to learn ways of creatively mending ceramics.
Bridget often uses found objects and materials in her work, examining repetition and playfulness with a focus on repair. She will guide you through 2 techniques: creating a golden join, and decoupage techniques for covering cracks.
Following this, you will have the opportunity to ask Bridget questions. Materials will be provided or you can bring along a broken ceramic. This workshop is suitable for beginners and tickets cost £15.
All ticket sales will be donated to the Somerset House Young Talent Fund. This provides bursaries and financial relief to artists, as well as opportunities for under-represented people aged 18-25 seeking to get into the creative sector.
