  • 19.05, Talk: Kara Walker and Frances Morris Artist Kara Walker speaks to Tate Modern’s Director Frances Morris about the Hyundai Commission: Kara Walker: Fons Americanus which, during Tate Modern’s closure, remains in the Turbine Hall.

  • 19.25, Create statement artworks with Lakwena London artist Lakwena shares her work and process and shows how to create an artwork in your home to make a space of resistance, protection and healing. You can use a mixture of materials you might have at hand, including paint, pencils, pens, paper, cardboard, glue, scissors and tape.

  • 19.45, Talk: Wolfgang Tillmans and Frances Morris How are artists responding to the pandemic? Hear from Berlin-based Wolfgang Tillmans in conversation with Tate Modern’s Director, Frances Morris on his current 2020 Solidarity project.

  • 20.05, DIY Zines with RIOT SOUP Collective Join Asma and Salma Istwani from RIOT SOUP to learn how to make a DIY zine that can archive and capture your experiences during this time. You can use a mixture of materials you might have at hand, including pencils, pens, paper, magazines, newspaper, glue, scissors and tape.

  • 20.20, Talk: Anna Farley and Hamja Ahsan Hear from Tate Exchange artists Anna Farley and Hamja Ahsan on making art in isolation. See their makeshift studios, the work they have been producing in quarantine and hear how the current situation has impacted those from the neurodiverse community.

  • 20.40–21.00, Meditation with Sanchia Legister End the evening with a calming, guided meditation from Sanchia Legister who will be using instructions from Yoko Ono’s 1964 book Grapefruit as inspiration.
