PILOT SESSION - A brand new session to share your writing.
Whatever it is that you write, and regardless of who it's for, it's sometimes nice to share it. Reading out loud is scary - yes, but this session is all about support and encouragement and celebrating having a go.
This is not about critiquing, it's more about a fun evening sharing our writing with each other, just because we can.
There really is no requirement for what you bring to be a 'thing' e.g. poetry, prose, a story etc. It might just be something you wrote in a spare moment that made you kind of go 'huh?'. It could even be someone else's writing you really admire and just want to share its brilliance.
So sign up, come along, we'll make you feel welcome, encouraged and supported. Shout if you have any questions - cpsdayoff@gmail.com.
Time will be capped at 5 minutes per read. Depending on numbers, you may get more than one go (no more than two per person).
A note on content: obviously freedom of expression is important, but if you're writing contains any isms (racism, sexism etc.) then it's probably not going to be welcome. However, if it's to demonstrate rather than perpetuate, then of course, it's in. Just give us a heads up.
