Organised by Somerset House

Our digital strand of the Creative Careers & Skills programme at Somerset House, bringing you fortnightly bite-sized snippets of information, innovation, and inspiration over lunch-time sessions.
Led by members of the Somerset House community, these digital sessions for up to 100 young people aged 18-30 are for those looking for access routes into the Creative Industries and the Cultural Sector.
Against the current backdrop and complexities of remote working and self-isolation, these sessions are about resilience when building skills in new virtual spaces and acknowledging creativity during the Covid-19 crisis.
We are reaching out and connecting you to our Somerset House Studios Artist community, various colleagues of Somerset House Trust, Somerset House Exchange Members as well as with our peers and industry friends within the wider creative industries, to give insight into potential current role(s) as professional artists, thinkers & doers and game changers.
Evidence from Nesta has shown there are five core skill areas needed in creative jobs in the future- communication, finance/support, technology, design/creative ideation, and teaching/peer skills.
Tell us what creative areas interest you most, we will do our best to develop programme ideas around you: creativecareers@somersethouse.org.uk
