Organised by Sarabande Foundation
Following the global success of our online drawing workshops, Sarabande continues to the lead the trend with a life drawing workshop led by Sarabande alumni and artist Shannon Bono.
Shannon's work directly reflects the black female body as a source of tutelage and analysis for deeper thought and healing as a means of not only expressing black feminisms but also personal embodied experiences.
With corporeal expression at the forefront, this workshop will encourage you to imbue meaning to the blank canvas that is the human body. Unravelling symbolism and discovering it's unspoken thoughts, this session will guide you in the discovery of the body's complexities and significance through the medium of art and creativity. Scale, form and personal style will play key, but more importantly - your own relationship with your body will be called into question.
This event has limited physical tickets so if you wish to join the workshop, digital attendee tickets are available and a link to the livestream will be sent prior to the workshop!
