Celebrate World Usability Day with Cyber-Duck on November 11th (4PM GMT) with this exclusive roundtable event on the dangers of accessibility overlays, widgets & fast-fix solutions.

In the last few years, there has been increased attention on improving the website experience for users with access needs. Many businesses that previously overlooked basic web accessibility standards, are now investing in improving web design and usability, to provide an online experience that works for everyone.

To do this, some organisations have opted for accessibility overlays. Overlay tools work by detecting accessibility issues and attempting to repair them in real-time. They are sold as a fast-fix solution to making a website WCAG and ADA compliant and more usable for disabled people. However, in reality, it is estimated that overlays can only detect 20-30% of accessibility issues occurring on a website. That’s potentially 70 – 80% of issues going unanswered when relying on overlays alone.

Join Cyber-Duck and a panel of UX and accessibility experts for an exclusive roundtable webinar on the potential risks when relying solely on overlays and how best to approach improving website usability and accessibility.
