Understand why a business plan is important, what goes in to one and how to go about the research needed to create your plan.

This workshops is suitable for anyone thinking of setting up a fashion, accessory, shoe or jewellery business or is already running a business without a strategy in place.
Delivered by fashion industry expert Alison Lewy, it will cover the following:
- Why a business plan is needed and what it should include
- What research is required and how to go about it
- Getting your start up costs right
- Pricing and costing strategy
- Overview of sales forecast, cash flow and profit and loss forecasts
By the end of the session you will have a better understanding of business planning and the confidence to start or revise your own plan.

This session will be delivered by fashion industry expert Alison Lewy MBE, one of the Fashion Angel team. Alison ran her own successful label for 15 years and consulted for high end designers such as Matthew Williamson and Preen.
