Are you currently working on an animation showreel clip and looking to get feedback or a fresh perspective from your peers?
Whether your clip is intended for TV, games or VR, join this session to view your work with other animators and receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment.
Hosted by Bianca Iancu, members will take it in turns to present their work to the group. Whether you are looking for advice on body mechanics, acting choices, context or technique, this is a great opportunity to receive feedback, discuss any creative problems you are currently facing, as well as meet other animators in the group.
To get the most out of the session, we ask that you submit a 30 second (max) clip of your work beforehand.
Bianca Iancu, is an Animator. Having worked on a variety of projects in short film, games, VR and TV animation across the UK. She has previously contributed to Games TM Magazine and been invited to speak about the North-Eastern games industry at Creative Fuse NE. She is part of the BFI Network X BAFTA Crew programme, a member of Animated Women UK and an active mentor for underrepresented groups within games, VFX and animation at Access: VFX. Recently she also made the honourable mentions list for MCV / Develop’s 30 Under 30.
How to submit your work
Upon securing your slot via Eventbrite, please email a link to your showreel ASAP to scarlet@wftv.org.uk. We’ve found the best way to share clips is to use Vimeo and create a private viewing link.
Put ‘Animators Group – Animation Clip Feedback Session’ in the email subject line.
How will the online event work?
This event will be hosted via www.Zoom.us. You will receive a URL link to the meeting with your Eventbrite confirmation. Members will need to access this meeting using a laptop or desktop device in order to be able to share their clips.
